4Day Grand Canyon 3 Nights Gateaway to Las Vegas

                                   

 

 


Day 1
Today, we will journey through the San Bernardino Valley Area and the immense Mojave Desert to fabulous Las Vegas. Upon our arrival in Vegas in the afternoon, guests are free to spend their time as they please. There is an optional night tour for exploring the city.
Day 2
Las Vegas - Grand Canyon South Rim - Las Vegas (288 miles)
We begin the day by traveling to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, where we will have the opportunity to see a film at the Grand Canyon IMAX and have ample time to explore. On our way back to Vegas, we will stop to see the Hoover Dam. Upon our arrival back at the hotel, there is an optional night tour for exploring the Strip.
Alternatively, guests may choose to have a free day in Las Vegas.
Grand Canyon
Considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon was carved over 17 million years by the Colorado River. This breathtaking, 18-mile-long canyon has been stunning visitors for hundreds of years.
Grand Canyon South Rim More than five million people every year visit the South Rim of the great Grand Canyon. The South Rim offers a wealth of activities, including driving and walking tours and campgrounds. The South Rim area includes hotels and other amenities.
Grand Canyon IMAX Grand Canyon: The Hidden Secrets, currently being shown on an impressive IMAX screen in a theater located on the South Rim of the canyon, focuses not on the geology of the canyon, but on the history of human involvement.
Las Vegas, NV
Las Vegas is known as the "Entertainment Capital of the World" for a good reason-- casinos and hotels line its streets, and visitors can gamble, see shows, and shop at virtually any hour of the day or night.
Hoover Dam The largest dam of its time, the Hoover Dam was constructed in just five years by thousands of workers. The entire project required 3.25 million cubic yards of concrete and is almost 750 feet high.
Day 3
Las Vegas
Today guests will have the whole day to explore the city of Las Vegas, NV at their leisure.
Day 4
Las Vegas - Barstow - Los Angeles (277 miles)
Before we leave Las Vegas, we will travel to the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and its Botanical Cactus Gardens. On our way back to Los Angeles, we will stop in Barstow, CA, to visit the Tanger Outlets. We will arrive back in LA at night.

Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Cactus Gardens A unique combination of food and flora, the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Cactus Gardens outside of Las Vegas, NV has something for everyone. Both the gardens and the factory are open to the public free of charge.
Barstow, CA
Barstow serves as a civilized stop-over for off-road enthusiasts and desert adventurers and offers access to a very modest clutch of cultural sights. Find out and about a museum or two, including one with Route 66 as its focus, filming locations like Bagdad Cafe and quaint Calico Ghost Town.
Tanger Outlet Center The Tanger Outlets in Barstow, California-- about halfway between Los Angeles and Las Vegas-- offer designer wares at bargain prices. Guests can enjoy discounts on everything from clothing to pocketbooks to electronics and so much more!

o If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

• Service Fees: A total of $8 / day / person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $8 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $32.)
• Personal room fees: such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.
